Monday, June 17 – Guided tuor and Gala dinner in the prestigious context of the Carlo Maria Martini Diocesan Museum.
The permanent collection of Carlo Maria Martini Diocesan Museum currently includes almost a thousand artworks originated between the 2nd and the 21st century. They have come into possession of the museum as bequests, loans or donations and are a lively testimony of the abundant artistic production in Lombardy, besides providing an interesting insight into the tastes of collectors – not only archbishops, but private enthusiasts as well. The collections are constantly changing and acquiring new pieces, and they are currently on display inside the three renovated buildings of the second cloister of Sant’Eustorgio.
